about us
Your break shouldn’t feel like work. We help you plan better, pack smarter, and rest easier.
Hey, I’m Christopher—and I left my desk job because I didn’t want to feel left out of the world anymore. While life was happening out on trails, at campsites, winding roads and down coastlines. I was stuck behind a desk convincing myself that my poster of Zion National Park was more than enough.
For years, I chased this idea of “work-life balance,” thinking if I just pushed a little harder, gave up a few more weekends, stayed online a bit later, I’d eventually earn the ability to win my time back. But the truth is, that balance never showed up. And somewhere between the burnout and the missed moments, I realized I’d traded too much of my life for a to-do list.
I created TrekVantage to help change that. Not just for me, but for anyone who’s ever felt like the world is happening without them while they’re still “just finishing one more thing.” And hopefully you’ll be able to take every second of your PTO… or at least find some incredible getaways.
TrekVantage is built for people who work hard and need their time off to work for them. This isn’t about quitting your job or vanishing off the grid. It’s about using the time you do have – weekends, PTO, holidays – to reset in a way that feels real.
You’ll find:
Vantage Picks: curated destination ideas and “best of” lists for quick inspiration
TrekTips: simple, useful advice to help you plan less and breathe more
Trip-Ready Gear: road-tested gear that makes travel easier, not heavier
Rest Stops: peaceful cabins, quiet campgrounds, and handpicked places to stay
Everything here is designed to help you unplug without overthinking it.
I believe time off shouldn’t feel like work. And it shouldn’t take a full-blown breakdown to justify a weekend away.
Whether you’re burnt out or just craving some quiet, TrekVantage gives you tools to step away with purpose so you can come back better. With trusted gear, real travel recs, and stories that understands the grind to help you protect your peace one trip at a time.
Time off, well spent.
